Causalism as a whole is not determinism
The "Oxford Dictionary of Philosophy" defines determinism as "the doctrin that every event has a cause" (Simon Blackburn, Dictionary of Philolosophy, Oxford University Press, 2005, page 97).
It is a wrong definition: that is the definition of causalism.
The real definition of determinism is: the principle which establishes that in the same circumstances, the same causes provoke the same effects.
Causalism is a gender which contains two species: determinism and causalistic indeterminism (the facts occur due to causes we can not predict because there are not constant laws in nature or mind).
